I just hit my fifth year in business.
5 years of creating art. 5 years of meeting hundreds of clients & documenting so many different stages of people’s lives. 5 years of being the photographer that people
choose confidently.
In 5 years, I took my business across the country, from Alaska to Florida & had to literally start from scratch. In 5 years I have celebrated 27 magazine publications.
In 5 years I have learned that I have so much love outside of just photography, but pure love for teaching, web design, film photography & cinematography.
In five years, I’ve wanted to quit and never look back but kept pulling through. In 5 years I hit burn out too many times to count, and I’ve had people try to dim my light but my passion and resilience have never let
my flame die.
In five years, I transitioned my editing style, took way too many marketing courses, and stayed up way too late because of the obsession with perfecting my art.

THE DAY MY NANNY (grandmother) + MY LATE GRANDPAPPY, JACK SAID I DO. + i was their photographer at the little age of 12.
Their love will live for eternity.
on my busiest days, you’ll find me and my daughter chasing chaos with our four dogs (three aussies, one bernese), playing barbies, making art, exploring new corners of the world, and singing CHARLI XCX way too damn loud.
+ when it’s time to recharge?
you’ll catch me in the gym, flowing through yoga, or buried SNUGGLED UNDER A BLANKET FALLING ASLEEP WITHIN 30 SECONDS.

WITH CHOOSING ME,
THE BEGINNING OF THAT LITTLE DREAM OF MINE...
I lived a life of adventure + adrenaline in Alaska + I bought my first camera to document those INCREDIBLE moments.
Fast forward just A FEW SHORT months, & I FINALLY TOOK THE LEAP TO quit the soul sucking 9-5 job I so desperately felt trapped in.
I started volunteering at Alaska's Wildlife Conservation center & fell
in love with photography DURING THIS TIME. I SPENT MY DAYS PRACTICING PHOTOGRAPHY EVERY CHANCE I COULD, AND WITH WHATEVER SUBJECT I COULD.
I QUIT VET SCHOOL, AND I NEVER LOOKED BACK. Fast forward a few more months, I DOVE INTO STARTING MY OWN BUSINESS. It started with just photographing family sessions + portrait sessions for under a hundred dollars, and that eventually turned into capturing my first wedding + falling in love with a whole new realm of photography.
MY BUSINESS WAS NOT INTENTIONAL, BUT IT IS THE PATH THAT WAS TRULY CREATED FOR ME + MY UNIQUE SOUL.
